Just for example the author of this website at one time was taking a product that was actually allowing him to get up in the morning without server back pain. It was a liquid nutritional supplement that was doing some wonderful things to his and the bodies of 700,000 others American's who took the product. People that had cancer, osteoporosis, arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, and 100's of diseases state that this product had helped them get off the doctor prescribed drugs either all together or were able to cut the dosage significantly. Well exactly what Kevin said would happen to companies that have products that really work happened. The FTC kicked in the doors of the company headquarters and shut them down! The company "was not" shut down for any reason relating to the validity of the product, no they were shut down because of the testimonials of 1,000's of people using the product CLAIMING IT IMPROVED THEIR HEALTH!

Even a doctor I know wrote "I quit my medical practice, as I found I was helping my patients more with this product, than I was as a doctor prescribing drugs!

Today's doctors learn from medical schools that are supported in part by pharmaceutical companies through grants and endowments. They are taught to treat the symptoms of a disease and not the PROBLEM itself. What are our doctors taught to treat the symptoms of disease with?

A: Drugs
B: Nutrition

Our government has laws that say "Only Drugs Cure" so if a company were to tell you that an Orange can cure scurvy that company would be breaking the law! Although everyone should know that Oranges in fact do provide the body with vitamin C and your body uses this vitamin C to CURE itself of scurvy!

First let's air out some truth here. Drug companies all the time are airing commercials broadcasting how they are searching for the cure for this disease or that disease. Not only are the side effects of some drugs in many cases worst then the original disease; folks this is business propaganda 101. Why on earth would any pharmaceutical company want to find a cure for any disease when they can formulate drugs to treat the symptoms of the diseases?

You can cure a disease one time, but you can treat the symptoms of diseases for a lifetime!

It is truly all about the almighty dollar.

Next time you hear a drug commercial on TV listen to the side effects of the drug and read the fine print. It should scare the hell out of you.


The FTC Attacks Nutritional Supplements Companies Corporate Offices Like Osama Bin Laden Was Hiding There!

As our government has said "Only Drugs Cure" I could debate that along with every  Naturopathic doctor in the world, but it is this law that makes it a crime to tell people the truth about nutritional supplements!

There are so many scam artists in the world I agree we need laws to protect the consumers, but laws that are set up to protect the profits of the pharmaceutical industry are in my view treason against the American people.
The vitamin industry itself is in one way a big part of the scamming of America. Mega vitamin companies, many owned by big pharma companies are selling mined and man made vitamins and mineral supplements claiming that these in the doses prescribed on their bottle are all you need to be healthy.

First of all if a mineral or vitamin that are not in a food form, food matrix, and or are not cultured vitamin and mineral supplement, 99 times out of 100 they will do nothing but cost you money.

Yes our government is partially right, nutritional supplements will not or do not cure...But then neither do most drugs!

Even the best nutritional supplement on the planet will not cure you of any disease! This is a truth that the government turns around to make it look like nutritional supplements are doing nothing.

What nutritional supplements do is simple provide the human body with the fuel, keys or tools it needs to help the body heal itself!

Therefore the government is technically right!

Every American eating the food bought in stores in this country should be supplementing their diet with a ballanced nutritional supplement. D.A. and F.T.C. officials in the United States for not looking out for the welfare of "We The People" (like they do in China) then we would not see so many dangerous drugs being approved and the F.D.A. would be promoting preventative health by using Nutrition as it should be. Hippocrates is rolling over in his grave.. Wonder how we can get that law passed!

One day not so far in the future the pharmaceutical companies will have total control of the nutritional supplement industry, by way of so called laws passed by the F.T.C.and F.D.A.! You will need go to and pay your doctor for a prescription for vitamin C or other beneficial supplements that will only be sold through pharmaceutical companies. The health care cost if you think they are outrageous now just wait until nutritional supplements are out of reach of ordinary folks in this country! Just what the pharmaceutical companies want to happen will!

Merck’s Vioxx, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) painkiller, made headlines in 2004 when the company voluntarily withdrew it from the U.S. market following reports of increased rates of strokes and heart attacks in patients taking the drug chronically. Vioxx was the most famous of more than a dozen drugs withdrawn from the market since 2000.

But withdrawal of drugs is not a new phenomenon. In fact, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) took on its modern form as a reaction to the horrific side effects of the drug thalidomide, introduced in Europe in the 1950s as a sleep aid and treatment for morning sickness in pregnant women.

By 1962, it was evident that thalidomide caused severe limb deformities, and Frances Kelsey, the FDA’s medical officer at the time, kept the drug off of the market. In Europe, 8,000 babies were born with defects resulting from the drug. That tragedy prompted a Congressional bill that gave the FDA the authority to raise the safety bar and require that companies prove the effectiveness of drugs before they could be marketed in the United States.

FDA failures

Recently, the FDA has come under attack for not living up to its mission. The agency failed to catch serious side effects in a number of drugs before they were approved, thus forcing embarrassing withdrawals.

Critics attribute these failures to the agency’s close ties with the medical industry. These close ties are exemplified by the 1992 Prescription Drug User Fees Act, which requires industry to pay user fees that help fund the agency’s review of new drugs for approval.

Part of the purpose of the legislation was to shorten the approval times and get drugs to market more quickly. But according to a 2002 report by the Government Accounting Office (GAO), the legislation ultimately caused increased workload for the FDA’s reviewers. There was also a slight increase in the percentage of drugs that had to be withdrawn from the market.

The side effect of withdrawing drugs

The flip side of the decision to withdraw a drug due to rare, serious side effects is that it can leave some patients with few therapeutic options. For example, some patients objected to the withdrawal of Zelnorm, a drug used to treat irritable bowel syndrome.

Seriously ill patients “should be able to take a risk,” says Peter Barton Hutt, senior counsel at the law firm Covington & Burling LLP, and former FDA chief counsel.

But Diana Zuckerman, president of the National Research Center for Women & Families, argues that it isn’t that simple.

“The problem is that patients aren’t really told ([about a drug’s risks). Doctors aren’t giving that information, partly because they don’t spend that much time with patients and partly because they don’t know themselves—they haven’t read all 10 studies (performed on a drug).
